Admission Requirements
Learn about eligibility, required documents, and important rules for admission at St. Joseph's Convent School.
📅 Academic Year
March to February
Eligibility & Admission Policy
Admission is open to all irrespective of class, creed, or race, based on available seats. The school authorities reserve the right to refuse admission if the student cannot cope with the syllabus, has poor health, or displays delinquent behavior. Admission registration does not guarantee a seat—it only allows participation in the entrance test and interview.
Required Documents
- Birth Certificate (Municipality/Hospital attested)
- School Leaving Certificate (for higher class admissions)
- Bona fide Certificate from the previous school
- Passport-size photographs (as specified)
Admission Process
Registration and submission of the admission form.
Entrance test and interview (except Nursery).
Verification of documents and fee submission.
Final confirmation of admission by the Principal.
Important Guidelines
- Admission forms must be filled accurately — no later corrections allowed.
- Registration does not confirm admission; selection is merit-based.
- Admission will be canceled if fees are not paid within the deadline.
- No refund of fees once paid under any circumstances.
- Limited seats available for higher classes — admission by merit or lottery system.
Sibling Admission & Lottery System
Due to limited seats, admission for siblings of existing students cannot be guaranteed. In cases of excess applicants, the school may adopt a fair lottery system to ensure impartial selection. Registration fees are non-refundable regardless of outcome.
